About 220 Ohm Resistor Pack

TecnoMate’s 220 Ohm Resistor Pack gives you 10 essential fixed resistors for building, testing and repairing electronic circuits. A 220 Ω resistor is one of the most commonly used values in beginner and professional electronics because it provides practical current limiting for LEDs, microcontroller I/O lines, transistor base drive circuits and signal conditioning networks. This pack is especially useful for Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi Pico, 8051 and other DIY embedded projects where a small, reliable current-control component is required. These are standard axial through-hole carbon film resistors with a 1/4 Watt power rating and ±5% tolerance. Carbon film resistors are widely used in general-purpose electronics due to their stable performance, compact size and easy solderability. The axial lead format fits directly into breadboards for quick experiments and can also be soldered onto perfboards, stripboards and through-hole PCBs for permanent assemblies. In a typical LED circuit, a 220 Ω resistor is placed in series with the LED to reduce current and protect the LED and microcontroller pin. It is also useful as a base resistor for small signal transistors, a pull-up or pull-down resistor where 220 Ω is appropriate, or a protection resistor in low-voltage digital and analog circuits. The resistor is non-polar, so it can be installed in either direction. The standard color code for 220 Ω with 5% tolerance is red-red-brown-gold, helping you identify the part quickly during assembly. What’s in the box: 10 pieces of 220 Ohm, 1/4W, ±5% axial carbon film resistors. Pin note: each resistor has two leads and no polarity; simply connect it in series, parallel, or as required by your circuit design while staying within its power rating.
