About ESP32 Development Board (38-pin)

The ESP32 Development Board (38-pin) is a feature-rich IoT prototyping board designed for makers, students, engineers and product developers who need wireless connectivity with high processing power in a compact form factor. Based on the popular Espressif ESP32-WROOM-32 / ESP-32S module family, this board combines a dual-core 32-bit processor running up to 240 MHz with integrated 2.4 GHz WiFi and Bluetooth, making it suitable for connected electronics projects without adding separate wireless modules. This 38-pin ESP32 board breaks out more ESP32 functions than many smaller development boards, giving access to digital GPIO, ADC inputs, PWM-capable pins, capacitive touch inputs, SPI, I2C and UART interfaces. It includes an onboard USB-to-serial programming interface, voltage regulation, reset/boot circuitry and a PCB antenna on the ESP32 module. You can program it using the Arduino IDE, Espressif ESP-IDF, PlatformIO or MicroPython, depending on your project workflow. For IoT applications, the board can read sensors, process data locally and send values to cloud platforms, MQTT brokers, mobile apps or local web dashboards over WiFi. Bluetooth Classic and BLE support also make it useful for wireless control panels, BLE beacons, phone-connected devices and short-range data exchange. The dual-core architecture helps when running networking tasks alongside sensor reading, display updates or control logic. Typical projects include smart home controllers, wireless sensor nodes, data loggers, web servers, robotics controllers, WiFi relays, environmental monitoring systems and BLE-based devices. The 38-pin format is especially useful when you need more I/O access for displays, relays, motor drivers, keypads, sensors and communication modules. Package includes one ESP32 38-pin development board. Pin notes: the board uses 3.3 V logic; GPIOs are not 5 V tolerant. Some ESP32 pins are input-only or used during boot, so check the ESP32 pinout before connecting external hardware.
