JSN-SR04T Waterproof Sensor

The JSN-SR04T Waterproof Ultrasonic Sensor is a robust distance measuring module designed for harsh environments. Unlike standard ultrasonic sensors, this unit features a separate waterproof transducer connected via a 2.5-meter cable, allowing the sensitive electronics to be protected while the probe is exposed to water or dust. It operates at 5V DC with a quiescent current of 5mA and a measuring current of 15mA. The sensor uses 40kHz ultrasonic waves to measure distances ranging from 25cm to 450cm with high accuracy. It is widely used in industrial automation, water tank level monitoring, outdoor robotics, and vehicle reversing radar systems. The module is compatible with Arduino, ESP32, and other microcontrollers, utilizing a simple trigger and echo interface similar to the HC-SR04.
