Plantower PMS5003 PM2.5 Particulate Matter Sensor

The Plantower PMS5003 PM2.5 Particulate Matter Sensor is a widely used digital air-quality sensor module for detecting suspended particles in air. It is designed to measure fine particulate concentration using laser scattering: air is drawn through the sensing chamber by the built-in fan, particles pass through a laser beam, and the scattered light is processed internally to estimate PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10 mass concentration values. The sensor also reports particle counts for multiple particle-size bins, enabling richer environmental analysis than basic dust sensors.
