About WS2812B RGB LED Strip

The WS2812B is an intelligent control LED light source where the control circuit and RGB chip are integrated into a single 5050 package. This addressable LED strip allows individual control of each LED's color and brightness using a single-wire digital protocol, making it ideal for complex lighting animations and effects. Each LED contains a built-in driver IC, eliminating the need for external shift registers. The strip operates on 5V DC and is available in various densities (30, 60, 144 LEDs/meter) and waterproof ratings (IP65/IP67). Perfect for Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi projects, it's widely used in home automation, signage, stage lighting, and decorative installations.
