It is designed to work with the Arduino IDE, making it suitable for beginners learning C/C++ microcontroller programming as well as experienced makers building sensor, automation and robotics prototypes. The board runs at 16 MHz and operates with 5V logic. You can power it directly from USB while programming, or use an external DC supply through the barrel jack or VIN pin for standalone operation. Like the classic Uno R3 design, it provides 14 digital input/output pins, including 6 PWM-capable pins, plus 6 analog input channels for reading sensors such as LDRs, potentiometers, soil moisture probes, thermistors and gas sensors. Communication options include UART, SPI and I2C, allowing easy connection to displays, motor drivers, wireless modules, real-time clock modules and many other Arduino-compatible accessories. Most Uno R3 compatible clone boards use a USB-to-serial interface such as CH340/CH340G for uploading sketches from a PC.
