Details

The 5V 2-Channel Relay Module is one of the most useful interface boards for connecting low-voltage electronics to higher-power devices. It allows an Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, PIC, AVR, ARM or other controller to switch two separate loads such as lamps, fans, solenoid valves, DC motors, pumps, buzzers or small appliances. Each relay channel provides an SPDT changeover contact set, giving you Common, Normally Open and Normally Closed terminals through convenient screw connectors. The module operates from a 5V DC supply and accepts 0–5V control signals on IN1 and IN2. When a channel is triggered, the onboard transistor driver energises the relay coil, the red relay indicator LED turns on, and the contact changes state. A green power LED provides quick confirmation that the board is powered. Many 2-channel relay boards also include separate VCC and JD-VCC power pins with a jumper, allowing the relay coil supply and logic supply to be linked or separated depending on the controller and noise requirements. Each relay is typically rated up to 10A at 250V AC or 10A at 30V DC, making this module suitable for many small automation and control tasks. It is widely used in electronics labs, robotics, home automation prototypes, IoT switching systems, educational kits and industrial test benches. For safe operation, always keep mains wiring insulated, use proper fuse protection, and ensure the connected load is within the relay rating. In the box: 1 x 5V 2-Channel Relay Module. Pin notes: logic side generally includes VCC, GND, IN1 and IN2; some versions include JD-VCC and a VCC/JD-VCC jumper. Load side includes three screw terminals per channel: NC, COM and NO.
