Project Details
How It Works
The system uses an IR sensor to detect motion in the washroom. When motion is detected, the sensor sends a HIGH signal to Arduino's digital pin. Arduino reads this signal and sends a HIGH output to the relay module, which closes the circuit and turns the light ON. When no motion is detected (sensor reads LOW), Arduino sends a LOW signal to the relay, opening the circuit and turning the light OFF. This creates an energy-saving automatic lighting system.
Prerequisites
Basic understanding of Arduino programming and electronics. Familiarity with digital input/output concepts and simple circuit connections. No advanced programming skills required.
