How It Works
The system works in three layers: 1) Communication Layer: The smartphone sends characters (F, B, L, R, S) over Bluetooth, which the HC-05 converts into serial data. 2) Control Layer: The Arduino reads incoming bytes and executes decision logic based on the command. 3) Actuation Layer: The L298N motor driver energizes the DC motors in specific polarity combinations to create movement. By varying which motors run forward or backward, the robot can move forward, backward, rotate left/right, or stop.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of Arduino programming, understanding of digital I/O pins, familiarity with serial communication concepts, and basic electronics assembly skills.
