The ESP32 Air Quality Monitor measures indoor air pollution using gas sensors and displays the data in real time. The project uses an ESP32 development board, an MQ135 air quality sensor, and optionally an OLED display for local data visualization. How It Works

The MQ135 sensor detects gases like CO2, NH3, alcohol, and smoke by measuring changes in its resistance. The ESP32 reads the analog output from the sensor via GPIO 34. The analog value is converted to an air quality level using predefined thresholds (e.g., <1500 = Good, 1500-2500 = Moderate, >2500 = Poor). The data is displayed on the OLED screen (if connected) and can be sent to the cloud via WiFi for remote monitoring. The system can trigger alerts or control devices like fans based on air quality levels.
