The system connects Amazon Alexa → IoT Cloud → ESP32, where voice commands are converted into control signals for relay modules. This project uses Sinric Pro / Fauxmo / AWS-based skills, enabling seamless smart home integration without complex mobile app development.

How It Works

The system works by connecting Amazon Alexa to the Sinric Pro cloud service, which acts as a bridge between voice commands and the ESP32. When a user says 'Alexa, turn ON the bedroom light', Alexa sends the command to Sinric Pro. Sinric Pro processes the command and sends a signal to the ESP32 via the internet. The ESP32 receives the signal and toggles the relay connected to GPIO 2, which switches the AC appliance on or off. The ESP32 uses WiFi to maintain constant communication with the Sinric Pro cloud.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of ESP32 programming, understanding of IoT concepts, familiarity with Arduino IDE, and experience with basic electronics and wiring. Users should also have an Amazon account and access to the Alexa app.
