Project Details
How It Works
The ESP32 connects to a WiFi network and authenticates with Firebase using an API key and database URL. It continuously monitors the Firebase Realtime Database for control commands (e.g., LED state) and updates its outputs accordingly. Simultaneously, it sends sensor data (like temperature) to Firebase at regular intervals. Firebase acts as a cloud backend, instantly syncing data across all connected clients (web apps, mobile apps, other ESP32 devices), enabling real-time remote monitoring and control.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of electronics (LEDs, resistors), familiarity with Arduino programming, understanding of WiFi concepts, and a Google account for Firebase setup. Prior experience with IoT projects is helpful but not required.
