The ESP32 Google Assistant Integration project allows users to control electrical appliances using voice commands like 'Hey Google, turn ON the living room light.' The system uses Google Assistant → IFTTT → IoT Cloud → ESP32 communication. When a voice command is given, Google Assistant triggers a cloud webhook, which sends a command to ESP32 to control relays. This project demonstrates voice-controlled automation, cloud-based IoT, and smart home ecosystem integration.

How It Works

The system works through a cloud-based communication chain: 1) User gives a voice command to Google Assistant, 2) Google Assistant triggers an IFTTT applet, 3) IFTTT sends a webhook request to the Blynk cloud, 4) Blynk cloud forwards the command to the ESP32 via WiFi, 5) ESP32 processes the command and toggles the relay connected to GPIO 2, 6) Relay switches the AC appliance on/off. The ESP32 runs a Blynk client that continuously listens for commands from the cloud.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of Arduino programming, understanding of WiFi connectivity, familiarity with cloud services (IFTTT, Blynk), and experience with basic electronics and relay circuits. Users should also have a Google account and a compatible Google Assistant device.
