How It Works
The ESP32 connects to the PZEM-004T energy meter via UART serial communication. The PZEM module measures voltage, current, power, and energy from an AC load using its internal sensors and current transformer. The ESP32 reads this data periodically and processes it. Using Wi-Fi, the ESP32 sends the data to a local web server or cloud IoT platform (like ThingSpeak or Blynk). A web dashboard displays real-time metrics, historical trends, and alerts. The system can be scaled by adding more PZEM modules for multiple loads.
Prerequisites
