Project Details
How It Works
The system works in a sequential flow: User speaks a command → I2S microphone captures audio → ESP32 processes and sends audio to cloud STT service → Text is analyzed by AI engine → AI response text is generated → ESP32 converts text to speech using TTS API → Speaker outputs the response. The ESP32 handles all hardware interfacing while cloud services provide the AI intelligence.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of ESP32 programming, understanding of I2S audio protocol, familiarity with REST APIs and HTTP requests, access to cloud AI service accounts (Google, OpenAI, AWS, or Azure), and a stable Wi-Fi network connection.
What You'll Learn
Learn to capture and convert voice commands to text using cloud APIs
Integrate with AI services like OpenAI or Google Cloud for natural language processing
Convert AI-generated text responses into spoken audio
Handle I2S audio input and output in real-time
Combine ESP32 IoT hardware with cloud-based AI services
Key Features
Control devices and get information using natural voice commands without physical interaction
Generate intelligent, context-aware responses using cloud AI engines
Support for English, Hindi, Marathi, Spanish, and French languages
