How It Works
The Arduino executes instructions sequentially in a loop. For each LED in the sequence, the code sets the corresponding digital pin to HIGH (5V), which forward-biases the LED through the current-limiting resistor, causing it to emit light. After a delay, the pin is set to LOW (0V), turning the LED off. This process repeats for each LED in the array, creating a running light pattern. The loop() function continuously repeats this sequence, creating an endless chaser effect.
Prerequisites
Basic understanding of electronics concepts (voltage, current, resistance). Familiarity with Arduino IDE installation and basic programming concepts (variables, loops, functions) is helpful but not required as this is a beginner project.
