Project Details
How It Works
The rain sensor module contains conductive tracks that form a variable resistor. When water droplets fall on the sensor, they bridge the tracks, reducing the electrical resistance. This resistance change causes a voltage change at the sensor output. The Arduino reads this signal (either as analog voltage or digital HIGH/LOW based on a threshold). When rain is detected (low resistance/high voltage), the Arduino activates the buzzer and LED through digital output pins, creating an audible and visual alarm.
