1 Channel 5V Relay Module
The 1 Channel 5V Relay Module is a compact microcontroller-compatible switching board for controlling one AC or DC load from Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP8266/ESP32, PLC and DIY electronics circuits. With VCC, GND and IN control pins plus COM, NO and NC screw terminals, it lets a low-voltage 5V logic signal switch higher-power devices such as lamps, solenoids, motors and small appliances. Ideal for home automation, robotics, lab prototypes and embedded control projects.

About 1 Channel 5V Relay Module
This 1 Channel 5V Relay Module is one of the most useful building blocks for electronics makers who need safe, convenient ON/OFF control of a single external load. Instead of wiring a bare relay on a breadboard, this ready-to-use relay board includes the relay, driver circuitry, indicator LED and screw terminals, making it easier to connect with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP boards, PLC outputs and other TTL-level control circuits.
The module works by energising a 5V relay coil when the IN pin is triggered by your controller. The relay then mechanically changes the state of its isolated output contacts. The load side is available as COM, NO and NC: COM is the common terminal, NO is Normally Open and closes when the relay is activated, while NC is Normally Closed and opens when the relay is activated. This allows you to build both fail-off and fail-on control circuits depending on your application.
Rated relay modules of this type are commonly used to switch resistive loads up to 10A at 250V AC or 10A at 30V DC, making them suitable for lamps, small fans, solenoids, pumps, buzzers, valves and other single-channel loads within rating. The onboard power and relay status indication helps during testing and troubleshooting, while the screw terminal output makes field wiring more secure than jumper wires.
Use this 5V single channel relay module for home automation switch projects, smart lighting, IoT appliance control, motor enable circuits, irrigation automation, security alarm outputs and educational relay experiments. For microcontrollers with 3.3V GPIO such as Raspberry Pi and ESP boards, ensure the input trigger requirements of the supplied module match your controller or drive it through a suitable transistor/level interface. Package includes one 1-channel 5V relay module.
