About 400 Point Solderless Breadboard
Build circuits quickly without soldering using this 400 Point Solderless Breadboard, a compact and reusable prototyping board designed for electronics learning, testing and rapid experimentation. It provides a convenient grid of interconnected tie-points where jumper wires, resistors, capacitors, LEDs, transistors, DIP ICs, sensors and other through-hole components can be inserted and rearranged as required. This makes it one of the most useful tools for Arduino, microcontroller, analog, digital and basic electronics projects.
The breadboard uses the standard 2.54mm pitch, so it works with most DIP packages and male header pins used in hobby electronics. The central terminal area is arranged so that components can straddle the middle gap, which is useful for placing ICs and modules. Power bus strips on the sides allow easy distribution of VCC and GND across the circuit. Internal metal spring clips grip component leads and jumper wires, creating temporary electrical connections without heat, flux or permanent joints.
This 400 tie-point size is a popular half-size breadboard format: large enough for small to medium circuits, yet compact enough to fit into student kits, robotics builds, desk setups and portable project boxes. It is well suited for LED experiments, timer circuits, transistor switching, op-amp testing, sensor interface circuits, logic gates, 555 timer projects and breadboard-compatible microcontroller wiring. For best results, use solid-core jumper wires or standard breadboard jumper leads and avoid high-current or mains-voltage circuits.
In the box you receive one 400 point solderless breadboard. Pin note: the board is passive and has no built-in power supply; connect external power only according to your circuit requirements and component ratings.
