About Micro USB Cable for ESP32
The Micro USB Cable for ESP32 is a standard USB Type-A male to Micro USB Type-B male cable designed for powering and programming popular development boards. Many ESP32 development boards, ESP8266 NodeMCU boards, Arduino Nano variants and older Raspberry Pi models use a micro-USB connector for USB serial communication and 5V input. This cable carries both power and data, making it suitable for uploading firmware, viewing serial logs, debugging IoT projects and powering the board during development.
With USB 2.0 support, the cable can be used for normal device communication up to the USB 2.0 standard speed of 480 Mbps when supported by the connected host and device. For ESP32 and NodeMCU users, it connects the board to a PC or laptop through the onboard USB-to-serial circuit, allowing sketches and firmware to be uploaded from Arduino IDE, ESP-IDF or other compatible tools. It can also be used with USB wall adapters or power banks for 5V power in bench testing and prototype demonstrations.
The 1 metre length offers a practical balance between reach and tidy wiring on a workbench, in classrooms, robotics labs and maker spaces. The Micro USB plug fits common development-board micro-USB sockets, while the USB Type-A end works with computers, USB chargers and many hubs. Always ensure your board has a micro-USB connector and that your USB source can supply the current required by your project, especially when using Wi-Fi, sensors, relays or displays.
What you get: 1 x Micro USB data and charging cable, approximately 1 metre long. Pin note: the micro-USB connector is the standard 5-pin USB Micro-B type; the cable includes power and data lines for programming and charging/powering compatible boards.
